Music Fidelity X-24K DAC
Customer has bought a premodded 2nd hand DAC that is giving “burning smells”. After discussion we decided to go for a repair + general mod level 1 for both the digital and analog board. Total cost S$4xx.
Yellow Boxed Section
Output stage mod with 4pcs of AD8066 opamp modules and blackgate output caps. Full recap with Wima and mallory film caps and elna cerafine caps.
Blue Boxed Section
Power supply section upgraded with FRED diodes and full power supply recap with Rubycon ZL caps and elna cerafines. Digital receiver board section full recap with wima caps.
