SDC-200C SCAD player |

Customer got the SACD player from local
distributor. His player is
actually an upgraded version from the local distributor, with
blackgates capacitors and damping, as well as RCA change to Esoteric
and Cardas type.

After discussion with
the customer, decided to install my EA ultimate clock module.
|
|

|
Close analysis of the player shows that
actually 2 board are being used for the motherboard and 2 clocks are
also being used, one for the CD playback and one for the SACD playback.
The solution is actually very similar to the one Denon
multistandard players like Denon 3910/A11 employs.
Just that the video output capability is disabled.

Above is the final overview of the player after
the 2 clock installation. Note
the hand-built power supply to fit exactly into the tight space.
All in all, a very delicate job and total cost is S$5xx.
It is cheaper as the 2 clock modules can actually share the
dedicated power supply and save some cost.
