Marantz SACD 14

Customer has got this player to replace his Esoteric DV50. This SACD14 is a real beauty. It has the same drive as the SA1, same clock and the difference lies in the DAC used. Customer wants to go for Clock installation, analog stage mods to the balanced output and dedicated transformer for analog section. No problem.

Installed separate transformer for analogue stage

Installed clock and dedicated power supply for clock.. The original clock has the same scheme as the SA1.

Blue Boxed Section

Upgraded analog output stage. The balanced output is real an afterthought, which uses cheap opamps and lousy output caps. It inverts the single ended output for balanced output. The single ended output is still better. After mod, the opamp is change to AS8066 and output Caps are changed to blackgates (customer is using full balanced system)
