In another multi-standard player, Pioneer 655Ai, our customer's comments after installing our EAM clock module and dedicated power supply:
After sending his Pioneer 665 for a second mod (level 1 and 2 total package) a few days after his EAM clock installation. "Initial impression after having it back: (a) The bass had been cleaned up considerably. Previously, the bass management of this player was quite poor. I thought it was the fault of my speakers, but now i know that the electronics were deficient. The bass is now much tighter and more focused. There are still CDs which sound flabby but the overall improvement has been very great. The top end has also benefitted in the sense that it now sounds much more neutral and smooth. There is no longer that very forward, glaring upper mid-range which really interfered with some of the music I listened to. If I could plot the response curve of the player, I'll bet that it is a lot flatter now. And that has contributed to a much more enjoyable listening experience. (b) There is a great improvement in detail and naturalness. Before the mod, there was a tendency for the player to sound "digital". Now, there is no sense that one is listening to a CD or SACD. The sound is clean, detailed and very musical. The first listen gave me goosebumps. Then I ran in the player for another 24 hours, and it didn't sound so good. I didn't let that discourage me because I know the BGs can sometimes play this trick on you. I ran it in further, and yesterday had a chance to watch a DVD, "Underground". It was really good, the picture quality was clean and the colours were vivid. Then just before I slept, I put on a CD of a piano trio, and although the CD wasn't some audiophile quality stuff, the piano was extended, clean and articulate. I wasn't sitting in the sweet spot so I have no idea of verifying this, but from my lying/reading position on bed, the player was again starting to sound really excellent, as expected. Today it is still running in, and I expect to be able to do some serious listening perhaps later tonight. I will post more thoughts once I've had a chance to familiarize myself with the mods. But so far, I am a very happy customer."

Comments from KC in Geylang, on his EAM modded
Marantz SA8260 (EAM clock module and level 1 upgrade)
"As for the mods on my Marantz 8260, I am happy to say that the mods have not only brought back the mid-bass, which was absent since I added the Marantz player to my setup forcing me to listen to Redbook CDs via my external MSB Gold Link DAC, but also significantly improved the higher and mid frequencies. Female vocals are now more extended, and drum kicks are quite a lot tighter and more defined. I also discern faster transients in guitars and clearer separation of instruments. And all this without losing any of the characteristic warmth and musicality of the unmodded Marantz player. Thank you!"

On a Marantz PM6100sa Amp (Yes we can mod amps too!!) Modded Extremely with our Level 1 Mod and High Current transformer Installation. (3 Transformers Installed to replace original under-rated transformers!). In summary, the integrated amp now behaves like one of a much higher-end I've heard that cost at least 3 times its current market price when new.

Denon A11 with clock module installed The A11 is doing well.....just watched Empire Strikes Back, and found that the picture is smoother and less grainy. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the modifications.

Pioneer 667A with clock module installed: At first, I thought that it'll only improve slightly after the mod. I didn't expect much for such a small cost. But it did over my expectation. My first impression was, is this my player! I just sat there listening to it. In the past, I could barely listen to CD on my 667A for more than 1 minutes. For video, there's less noise, sharper image, better contrast and colour. For audio, it sound more analog, tighter bass, smoother sound and more body. Btw, James after sale service is first class. He even bother to ask is my player ok days after the mod. I'm impressed.

Extremely Modded Denon A11:
The improvement in the audio quality on the A11 after the mod is impressive.
There are much dynamic and richness in the audio reproduction of the player.
The level of sonic details is manifested as pleasant sounding bass and treble,
robust, well controlled with no sign of harshness. Vocal singers sound alive
with an exuberance of emotion when played through the system. I am able to
detect subtle vocal inflections which have not been so apparent before. My
